Apply the medication liberally over peri-anal and rectal area. When using it internally, make sure to wash your hands. Empty your bladder and bowel before application. Another notable hemorrhoidal ointment is the Hyland’s Hemmorex Ointment. This ointment is made by the Hyland’s Pharmaceutical Company. Just like the aforementioned ointments, the Hyland’s medication aims to give temporary relief to the signs and symptoms of hemorrhoids. Its ingredients are Aesculus Hipp, Hamamelis Virg, Collinsonia Can and Resorcinum.
All medicines have side effects but most people do not develop any. Allergic reactions may come in the form of itching, rash, hives, difficulty in breathings, swelling of the face, mouth, lips or tongue. Rectal bleeding, swelling, redness and pain can occur in very severe cases.
